Heather opened Targamar & Co 9 years ago with a clear vision: to create a calm, professional grooming space where dogs are treated like family. With over a decade of hands-on grooming experience, she delivers top-standard grooms efficiently and with care. Her one-to-one appointment style ensures every dog gets her full attention and a calm, stress-free experience.
With so much experience under her belt, Heather doesn’t limit herself to any one breed or style, she welcomes all coat types and personalities. However, after years of grooming, her back occasionally sets the limit when it comes to extra-large breeds.
In those cases, she may recommend booking with Olivia, who is well-equipped to handle the bigger dogs comfortably.
Heather is happy to consult on your dog’s needs and guide you to the right groomer if she’s not the best physical fit.

Olivia began her grooming career right here at Targamar back in 2019. Over the years, she has built a solid foundation of training, experience, and advanced grooming skills, and now runs her own successful business, Olivia Brannick Dog Grooming, independently within the salon.
Olivia is known for her calm, confident approach and her exceptional finishing work. She’s particularly skilled in scissor grooms, hand stripping, and she absolutely loves working with large breeds.

Charlotte made a bold (and smart) career switch a few years ago, trading late nights and handling intoxicated people for something far more rewarding: grooming your dogs.
After completing intensive grooming training, she joined Targamar to finish her practical experience working alongside Heather. In June 2024, Charlotte launched her own business, Dog Grooming by Charlotte, and she’s been in high demand ever since.
Many of your dogs already know and love her, and for good reason. Charlotte is calm, efficient, and brings a perfectionist’s eye to every groom. She’s especially passionate about spaniels, and it shows in her detailed, careful work.

David joined the salon in June 2024 and quickly became a favorite with dogs and owners alike. With a calm demeanor and sharp eye for detail, David provides high-quality grooms in a low-stress environment.
David works Monday Tuesdays and Wednesdays and the occasional Saturday
Nicola has been grooming for 7 years and brings her own unique style and energy to the salon. Nicola takes her time on each groom and works on a 1/1 appointment system. Nicola runs an independent business NF dog grooming within Targamar & Co, she also has dog colognes and perfumes available for you to purchase.

Brought my shih tzu in today for the first time. Freddy has allergies which irritate his skin, is on meds and has had to have a face lift! As a result he hates being groomed and this is demonstrated by the state of his previous cuts! However, he's just had the best cut ever! Thank you so much ! He's calm and looking gorgeous!

After being on the look out for a new groomer due to ours being unable to do it anymore we enquired here, and loved the set up... very relaxed environment which we thought would be perfect for our old man Alfie. In our salon dogs come first. We see dogs as family members and promise to treat them with the love and respect they deserve. We have created a calm, clean and ambient space that your dog can enjoy. We believe that grooming should be a pleasant experience and we wouldn't have it any other way here.
We're located on High Street in Shaw, just off the big lamp roundabout and across from the war memorial. There is free parking available across the road and also behind the salon.
